Got contacted by a recruiter shortly after applying to set up an interview. Once confirmed, the recruiter shared useful info about the company and what to expect in the interviews. This really set me up well, and as someone neurodivergent, knowing the general plan was great. The next interviews happened pretty fast after the first call. They even provide feedback if you don't get the offer or advance, which is nice since most companies just send a generic rejection. The whole process shows the company values the candidate experience, which usually means employees are treated well too. Disappointed not to get the offer, but the interview process itself was fine.

The talent team was really good at communicating throughout the whole process, which was a nice change from other recruiters who sometimes just disappear. I sent in my resume through the online portal, then had a chat with a recruiter. After that, I went through interview rounds with managers and team leads, and there was also a work sample involved. Just a heads-up, you probably won't interview directly with the people you'd report to because Seer hasn't assigned you to any accounts yet, so they wouldn't know who your future manager would be if you get the job.

The interview process took about a month and was pretty smooth. It included two calls (one with a recruiter, one with a Team Lead) and an in-person interview at their NoLibs office. During the process, the recruiter let me know they had already filled the role I applied for, but suggested I keep interviewing for future openings. I thought the in-person went really well, but after following up with interviewers and waiting for a long time, I realized the recruiter and the company were ghosting me. I tried to get feedback and saw new job postings, but they only looked at my LinkedIn. I know companies don't owe candidates anything, but I expected better from Seer based on their image.

The interviewer was really unprofessional, showing up late and seeming disengaged. It felt impersonal because she was constantly looking at her screen and drinking a lot. She had a very laid-back and unprofessional demeanor. The company culture seemed to involve overworking employees, and they sent too much feedback afterward. They also claimed I didn't ask enough questions, which wasn't true because I asked about 6 or 7. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get the job.
