The interview was pretty chill and fun. The person interviewing me was super nice and easy to talk to, which made me feel good right away. We first did a quick intro, and then they asked me some questions about what I've done and what I know, but it felt like a normal chat, like they really wanted to get to know me.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a difficult situation and describe how you managed to overcome it?
Hostess
It was a quick in-person chat with the manager, about 5 minutes. If they liked me, I could start the very next day. It was a quick in-person chat with the manager, about 5 minutes. If they liked me, I could start the very next day.
- Do you have prior restaurant experience?
Hostess
Had one sit down interview where they went over the basics and my previous experience. Also asked some behavioral questions about how I'd handle different customer scenarios. It wasn't too bad, pretty straightforward.
- What is your availability?
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
- How do you interact with customers?
Hostess
The managers were really friendly and asked about work stuff but also chatted about personal life. They had a script with required questions that sounded kinda serious, but it was actually pretty chill because the managers were so nice.
- Can you tell me what great customer service means to you?
