First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sedgwick.
Claims Adjuster
The interview was super easy. I felt totally comfortable the entire time and they hit me with a bunch of scenario questions like "What would you do in this situation" and "How are you under stressful situations"? It was all very simple and direct.
- How do you handle stressful situations?
- Can you describe a time you had to follow a list of rules at work and if you were successful?
- What would you do in a given situation?
Claims Adjuster
I had a phone interview with a recruiter that went really well. Then, I interviewed with two team leads. One was really serious, and the other seemed a bit disorganized, asking off-topic questions. They focused a lot on situational questions, and I didn't really get to showcase my experience. After sending thank-you emails, I got no response, which was strange. I was told I'd hear back in a week, but I didn't. After emailing them twice for an update, I eventually heard from Sedgwick that I wasn't selected. The whole experience was pretty odd.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a specific type of situation?
- Describe a time when you dealt with a particular scenario.
Claims Adjuster
It began with a phone interview, then they had me come into the office. I had an initial interview with two managers, which was very casual, with no behavioral questions. I followed up and did an interview with the regional manager for the client, which went well. They called me and said they were going to make me an offer, then called me back stating I had to do a phone interview with others at the corporate office. I was on the phone with 7 other people. It was very awkward and did not go well. They called me a month later asking whether I was still interested in a position, but I declined.
- Why do you think you are the right candidate for this role?
