First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SecurityUSA.
Security Guard
I had to wait a whole hour for my interview. First, they had me fill out an application. After that, you just wait until they call you in to interview. I also learned that Security USA doesn't offer raises or paid time off.
- Did you have previous security work experience?
- Can you explain the 5 W's of report writing?
- When, why, what, how, and where?
Security Guard
The interview was short and to the point, very relaxed and direct. They hired me right away and made sure I was ready to start. The interviewer was really nice and kind. They didn't ask a lot of questions.
- Is your schedule flexible?
Security Guard
It's pretty much like every other disorganized security company in NYC! Pretty much anyone with a license can get a job at Security USA. This is great if you need a job fast or need to pick up some extra part-time hours but it can be a pain when you get stuck working with literally whoever walks through their door.
- When are you available to start?
Security
The process was smooth and seemed well-organized. The account manager was pleasant. Nothing else to add.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
