It was a casual, open conversation, but professional. There were 3 main rounds plus one additional round. I spoke with HR, peers, direct reports, and managers. They were very communicative and responsive. Overall, it was a good experience.

So this company had a really messed up interview process. I did a bunch of interviews and then they hit me with this huge take-home assignment that took me like 2-3 days. They said they'd pay me for it, but then they rejected me and just stopped responding when I asked about the money. It felt like they didn't even look at it because they never brought it up in any interviews. I think they just wanted free work. The whole thing was super disorganized too. Interviewers didn't seem to know my resume at all, even in later rounds. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get the job, but I'm so annoyed they wasted my time and were so unprofessional. They shouldn't promise money for work if they don't plan to pay. They should have at least given me feedback on the assignment. I'd tell people to stay away from this company because they don't respect your time. It's crazy because they talk about making an impact, but their own hiring process is a mess.

Applying was pretty straightforward, but there was a lot of confusion between my potential boss and the main HR person. After my first interview with the person who would be my direct manager, they mentioned I'd have two more interviews, but I only ended up having one more. The actual job title and position I was being considered for kept changing. It didn't really make a good impression.

I had a couple interviews with GET Cities, SecondMuse for the role. The first interview went really well, a more casual discussion on the role, the organization, and my experience. The second interview was quite odd and scattered. No structure or specific questions to highlight my experience thoroughly. I was asking more questions than the interviewer, which would remind her which questions to ask me. She seemed interested and stated I’d hear back from them. It’s been over a month and not a word. I sent follow up emails to the individuals that interviewed me but no reply. Not even a rejection email. You can’t outline all the things your organization does and then not even reply to your qualified candidates. I expected more from this organization. Even a “no, we’ve gone with another candidate” would go a long way.
