First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Seco Tools.
R&D Professional
The whole thing was pretty quick. I just had one chat with HR and then a team interview. Though, maybe that depends on who's hiring. They sent the offer a few days later after another video call with the hiring manager.
- What are your thoughts on living in a small town?
Intern
I was emailed and could pick a time for the interview. It was online and went smoothly. A week after the interview, they asked for my references to verify and I got the offer the same week.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your CV.
- Can you talk about how your experience relates to the job requirements?
Design Engineer
We're a global metal cutting and machining solutions provider. Our worldwide team develops product innovations and efficient manufacturing processes. For the interview, expect a CAD knowledge test on UGNX, discussion about your software projects, work experience, and commands in different CAD software.
- Could you explain your reasoning for using the pattern feature in UGNX?
Consultant
The interview process started with a 2-hour online assessment covering personality, IQ, and other tests. This was followed by a video interview with the Hiring Manager and HR Manager, which was a professional and interactive discussion. Next, I had an interview with the team I would be joining to check for team fit and attitude, which was a pleasant conversation. Finally, there was an onsite interview at the HQ to show the workplace and meet future colleagues.
- Can you tell me about your behavioral assessment experiences?
- We'd like to have some technical discussions.
