The interview involved discussing my ML projects and experience. They also asked about general data science tools such as pandas. It was not a coding interview, but more of a verbal conversation, lasting around 45 minutes. They also inquired about any sports experience I might have.

I applied online and heard back about a week later. A phone interview was set up with a senior designer and the marketing VP. The interview went okay, but I wasn't really expecting to get the job because my experience didn't quite match what they were looking for. It's fine though. What really bothered me was not getting any kind of email to let me know they decided to go with someone else. I took the time to talk with them, and the least they could have done was not leave me hanging. It's important to be more mindful of the impressions you leave on people because this is a small world.

Applied online and heard back within a week. Had a phone interview which was casual. Then an in-person interview. I was told they were hiring quickly and I'd hear back in a few days. Never heard back, not even to say I didn't get the job. Sent two follow-up emails over two weeks and nothing. Really surprised and disappointed by the Sounders lack of professionalism. Would've been better to at least be told about a decision instead of being ignored. The in-person interview felt more like an intimidation tactic than a chance to get to know me as a professional.

The interview process made me feel very comfortable and the interviewers were open with their responses. I enjoyed the entire experience! We got very in-depth, and I still felt relaxed after answering the questions. I would love to work for the team.
