I can't provide details on the interview process as it's only for internal candidates. We're not looking to hire externally. Good luck, I wish you the best. The interview isn't hard unless you're looking to move up. Management isn't great, but the benefits and pay are nice.

It was a good process overall, but the questions really just focused on handling negative patron behavior. There was no mention of building community, which made it feel like the interview could have been for any retail store like Target or Best Buy, not specifically a library.

So the interview was pretty quick, all in one day, and I talked to two people. They asked me about 10 questions in total. Some were about handling disagreements with colleagues and what makes me a better candidate than others. They got back to me pretty fast, I got an offer just a couple of days later.
