First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Seafood City.
Internal Auditor
It was a pretty straightforward interview. They asked about my background and some accounting stuff. I only had one interview on top of the initial phone call. The hiring manager was upfront about the salary and asked about my availability to start.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your salary expectations?
- When are you available to start?
Front of the House
The hiring manager wants to chat about the role and make sure you're a good fit. You'll need to confirm you're available to work weekends, both Saturday and Sunday.
- Are you capable of performing the duties of this role?
- Are you able to work on Saturdays and Sundays?
Supervisor
The hiring process was pretty straightforward. I submitted my resume and was hired immediately. The regional manager asked about my qualifications, then referred me to the store manager, and that was it. Everything else was up to me. If you put in the effort, you'll do well here. If you're lazy or not good at your job, your hours will be reduced.

Front End Cashier
the store manager asked simple questions about availability, if I was able to use cash register, and customer service experience. Overall a quick interview and got an offer within 10 minutes.
- What days and times are you available to work?
