Behavioral Technical Presentation

After you apply, we'll look at your resume and portfolio to see if you're a good fit. If we like what we see, we might give you a call or video chat to chat about your background and why you're interested. We'll definitely be looking closely at your portfolio, so make sure it shows off your best work and design thinking. If all goes well, we'll have you come in (or do another video call) to meet with the hiring manager and maybe some of the design team. This is where we'll ask a mix of questions to see how you handle things and if you've got the design chops.

Behavioral

The recruiter was late and seemed really distracted the whole time. They asked me the exact same question twice. When I tried asking questions, the responses had zero energy. They also have little room for growth, and when I asked about culture, they gave me the 'we are like a family' line (which is a red flag). I was not impressed with the experience at all!

My interview with SDI was a phone interview. It started as a friendly conversation and then dove into more specific questions about my resume. Some of the questions asked were a little odd, and more than what I expected for a phone interview. It sounded as if SDI was searching for someone with a little more experience instead of a "soon to be college graduate" and looking to fill the position sooner rather than later. The conversation lasted about 30 min. I was told my resume and information would be passed on to the management team and I would hear back within the week. I unfortunately did not hear anything back.
