Software Engineer
This company in Noida has a very long and tedious interview process, almost like they're hiring for Amazon, with a total of 6 rounds. It includes three technical rounds, one managerial round, a round with the V.P. of the company, and a final HR discussion. The technical rounds are relatively easy. Due to COVID-19, all rounds were conducted via video conferencing, which was convenient, but it might be cumbersome for those who have to travel to their office. A major drawback is that even after clearing all rounds, they might not offer the expected salary, even if your expected CTC was discussed with HR beforehand. In the final HR round, they question your salary expectations and suggest you're only switching for money. My advice is to confirm your expected CTC with the senior HR before attending any interviews.
- Can you explain the internal workings of HashMap in Java?
- Describe the synchronization mechanisms used in Java.
Software Engineer
First, there was a 1-hour written test with 3 sections: reasoning, English, and a 'write about yourself' section. The total marks were 45, with 15 for each section. The questions were simple, with no aptitude test, only reasoning questions. The second round was a Technical + Managerial Round, focusing on communication, confidence, presence of mind, and database management system skills. This round lasted about 40 minutes. The second round was the HR round, lasting 10-15 minutes. The third round was a Decision round, lasting 40 minutes.
- Why should we hire you in 30 seconds?
- What's more important to you: money or growth?
- Tell us about your passion.
Senior Software Engineer
It was a 4 round interview process. The first round had basic questions on core Java and Hibernate. The second round focused on Hibernate and SQL. The third round was with the manager and involved mostly puzzles. The final round was an HR round. I cleared all rounds but unfortunately didn't get an offer, which is quite disappointing.
- Tell me about Hibernate Cache.
- Can you explain Hibernate Criteria?
- What are Hibernate joins?
