I applied directly through the company's website. After some waiting, I was contacted for an initial HR interview lasting about 20 minutes. The tone was friendly and relaxed, not stressful at all. They asked about my education, why I want to work at SDG Group, and my availability. They also went into detail about some things on my CV. Overall, it was a good and well-organized experience. After passing the HR screening, you move on to the next step of the selection process. My advice: be ready to clearly explain why you're interested in consulting and to talk about your journey in a structured way.

The interview included an initial call, a technical assessment, and a meeting with the hiring manager. Overall, it was a positive experience; they weren't trying to trick you but rather assess your skills. The HR team was very friendly, and the people and managers I met were also amicable.

The selection process was well-organized and matched the initial description. The initial 'getting to know you' call was a standard interview, which could have been very quick. However, since I received a detailed presentation about the company, department, and selection process beforehand, I could ask a lot of questions, making it more interactive. Before the technical interview, I was given a clear description of the tests. The interview was as described and included a technical business case focusing on Python (my chosen language), an English-language part with an SQL question, and a market sizing business case to estimate the market for a specific good or service. The final meeting was supposed to be with the team lead, but it was cancelled due to scheduling issues. Even though I had already taken two days off for the selection process, my inability to take more time off was seen as 'lack of motivation to change.' This rigidity in handling the final stage left a bad impression, especially considering my efforts in the earlier stages. Overall, the process was well-structured, balancing technical and soft skills, and the company was quick with feedback and organizing initial stages. However, the final stage's handling was inflexible and negatively impacted the overall experience.
