First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ScriptPro.
Training Specialist
It wasn't a great experience and felt pretty underwhelming. The first interview was just basic questions. Then, for the on-site, they really dump all the role details on you and ask a couple of behavior questions. It's followed by a 10-minute presentation. Important note: if you want to use a Powerpoint, you have to email it to the interviewer beforehand because they block all websites.
- Can you describe your ability to think quickly and respond effectively in unexpected situations?
Software Tester
The interview process had three interviews in total. First, there was an HR "get to know you" interview. Second, an interview with one or two leads. Third, an interview with the hiring manager and a lead. If you get the position, you'll receive a call with an offer within a day or two. (This is what I believe based on others' experiences). By the end of next week, you might get an apology email.

Applications Systems Analyst
I had a phone screen with HR, but she seemed to know very little about the actual role. She asked me a bit about my background, thought I might be a good fit, and then inquired about salary expectations, asking, "What is the least amount of money you will work for?". I wasn't able to answer because I didn't have enough information about the position. There was also mention of a week of training in Kansas. The HR person couldn't answer my questions and got defensive when I asked why we were even discussing those things. This was definitely not a typical culture fit or background check interview. Additionally, there was a bait-and-switch regarding the schedule I had initially applied for.
- Can you tell me why you are looking to leave your current job?
- What is the minimum salary you would accept?
Quality Assurance Engineer
I found a job online and they asked me to schedule an initial phone interview a few days later. I spoke with the HR person, and honestly, it was one of the worst and most awkward interviews I've ever had. It felt like an interrogation about my resume, and they barely asked about what I've actually done or my skills. At one point, the interviewer even accused me of being dishonest on my resume because of some unclear phrasing about how long a contract job lasted. The interview wrapped up with her mentioning their 'very thorough' background check and asking if there was 'anything at all' that might stop me from passing it. This job doesn't even require a security clearance, so I didn't appreciate the drama. I mean, why would I even apply if I didn't think I could pass? By the end, I wasn't feeling good about my chances and honestly didn't care much, because if they treat applicants this badly, I can't imagine they treat their employees any better. Reading reviews on Glassdoor basically confirmed my suspicions. Unsurprisingly, I got a generic rejection email over three weeks later with no personalization, which I almost missed because it went to Spam.
- Can you clarify the resume wording about the contract position duration?
- Is there anything that might hinder you from passing the background check?
