First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scottish Rite for Children.
Executive Assistant
I had a phone screen set up. But on the same day, the recruiter from HR ghosted me. Less than an hour later, the HR recruiter told me they had already filled the position.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Clinical Research Coordinator
There were several rounds to this interview process. Initially, I spoke with the Director via phone for a quick screening. After that, I had an in-person meeting with a group of people from the clinical research team. The whole thing took about three to four months from start to finish before they extended an offer.
- Can you explain the difference between p-value and clinical relevance?
- Share an example of when you worked with a team to achieve a common objective.
- What is your approach to prioritizing an adverse event during a clinical trial?
Nurse Extern
I had an interview with 2 managers for the Summer Nurse Externship. It was in a small office and felt pretty casual. They asked me a bunch of questions to get a sense of my experiences and personality. They also asked some specific questions about patient scenarios. I had actually met both of them before at the open house for the program. Overall, it was a really good learning experience.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work here?
Nurse Extern
After applying, I got an interview date a few weeks later, along with the specific placement I was interviewing for. The interview was genuinely the best I've experienced so far, as they really took the time to get to know me as an individual.
- What motivates your desire to undertake an externship?
