First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scott Insurance.
Customer Service Representative
A corporate HR person called me over the phone for the interview. They asked me standard interview questions like about my past performance, my 5-year outlook, and my technical skills. The interviewer was really nice and explained what they were looking for in the person they hire.
- Can you tell me about your past performance?
- What are your expectations for the next 5 years?
- What technical capabilities do you have?
Account Manager
It was a bit long, but they really wanted to find people who fit their culture and were eager to learn. They seem to genuinely value their culture and take good care of their staff. The process included an initial chat with the recruiter, followed by a virtual meeting with the hiring manager, and then an in-person meeting with the manager.
- What's your approach to managing several urgent tasks simultaneously?
Benefits Analyst
A recruiter reached out after finding my LinkedIn, and we had a quick FaceTime chat. After that, I was set up for an in-office interview. Both the recruiter and the person interviewing me were super nice, although the conference room setup was a bit weird.
- What are your expectations for your next role?
Employee Benefits Producer
The interview process for the intern position was quite straightforward. I had conversations with three individuals: the head of recruiting, the head of the internship program, and a benefits producer.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
