Behavioral Technical Presentation

After applying online, I got a call for a phone interview within a week. The first call was with HR, covering my general background, aspirations, and some questions to gauge my knowledge. Then, a second phone interview took place with people from the hiring team, as the manager wasn't available. This one focused on situational questions, asking how I'd handle specific scenarios. They then scheduled an on-site interview. The on-site involved a 20-minute presentation I gave, followed by a pretty tough technical interview. The hiring manager joined halfway through my presentation and asked a lot about my knowledge of power engineering, which I don't have much of. They had to leave before I could ask them questions about the role. The other interviewers were helpful and professional, though a bit disorganized. It seemed like the hiring manager and the rest of the team had different ideas for the job and weren't really on the same page. After discussing benefits, HR mentioned they'd follow up in a few days.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you outline the steps required for a metering design project?
  • What are your general experiences and career goals?
  • Describe how you would respond in specific situations.
