Embedded Software Engineer
The interview was online with their senior firmware engineer. They mainly wanted to ask about my C skills and previous projects. This first interview lasted about 30 minutes.

Embedded Software Engineer
I had an on campus interview that was about 45 minutes long and went by pretty quickly. The interviewer was pretty average, not super friendly. They had a sheet of paper and took notes on my answers. After that, they emailed back and said they wanted to do a behavioral phone interview. If that went well, they would fly me out for a few days of interviews on site.
- Explain the intricacies of the C programming language, specifically the meaning of 'static' in functions and global variables.
- Define terms such as deadlock, re-entrant, and semaphore.
- Solve a generic programming problem by writing out code, paying close attention to detail as they look for small things and will assist if needed.
Embedded Software Engineer
The interviewer mostly looked at my resume and asked about my projects. Then, they moved on to ask some basic C++ oops concepts and data structures, and some things related to embedded systems like uART, watch dog timer, tdm, pwd. They also asked about networking like TCP and UDP.
