First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Schuler.
Executive Secretary
Terrible hiring process. I had two interviews and the recruiter just disappeared. It was disrespectful, and the professional didn't even know what she was doing. It felt like I was talking to a teenager. She didn't know how to conduct the process, and when I wrote to ask if I was continuing in the selection process or not, she vanished. Very irresponsible.
- Regarding your experience and how you developed throughout your career.
Study Engineer
Had a long discussion with the very friendly technical director of the design office, who asked a lot of questions, especially about our ability to learn and work independently. It's preferable to speak German.
- Are you capable of working independently?
- Can you learn effectively?
- How do you approach autonomous work?
Sales Manager
We started by welcoming the candidate, then went through their CV to chat about their sales and management background. We dug into how they handle key things like strategy and leading a team. We also wanted to see their personality, like their leadership style, how adaptable they are, and their communication skills, to make sure they'd fit in with the team.
- Can you elaborate on your CV and previous work experiences?
Intern
The process has two stages. The first one involves introducing yourself to other candidates and HR. You'll also fill out some paperwork for unknown reasons and write an essay about yourself. The second stage is an interview with the manager, and it might vary depending on the department. Generally, they ask typical questions about your strengths and weaknesses, your plans for the future, and about people. They might also ask questions in English.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- Could you tell me more about yourself?
- What are your plans for the next few years?
