First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Scholastic.
Business Manager
I applied in October and had an initial call with HR at the end of October. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager via Zoom in December. They mentioned wanting to meet in person in early January, but after that, I never heard back. I kept checking in for updates, but they just gave me the runaround. Eventually, I was ghosted and only found out I wasn't being considered anymore on their workday portal in March. It was a ridiculous 5-month process that ended with nothing.
- Could you detail your current responsibilities?
Senior Manager
They asked me a bunch of questions, not sure what kind, but they definitely tried to scare me. But nope. I got tiger blood. Still need to add more. Not sure what else to add. Look, I can keep writing, but like I said, there isn't much more to say.
- What is your motivation for wanting this role
Senior Manager
The interview process was amazing. Everything felt fluid, friendly, and professional. I met with the recruiter and my direct leader quickly. I ended up with a really good impression of the company and its culture.
- Can you explain why you're a good fit for this position?
