First there was a short phone call, followed by the main in-person interview. This part lasted about 30 minutes. We did introductions, for both the company and myself. Then they asked specific questions about my studies, my final thesis, and English skills.

Industrial Engineering Intern
For an industrial engineering role, the interview process usually has a few steps to check your technical skills, how you solve problems, and if you'd fit in. It usually starts with a quick chat or an online test to see your background and why you want the job. If that goes well, you might have interviews with HR, managers, or technical people. You'll answer regular and technical questions. They often ask about process improvement, managing projects, and industrial engineering stuff like lean manufacturing or process mapping. They might want to know how you've tackled tough operational problems, handled projects, or worked with different teams. Sometimes they ask 'what if' or behavioral questions to see how you communicate, lead, and handle stress. You might also get technical problems or data to look at, or talk about software you've used. At the end, you usually get to ask questions and find out about the next steps. It's important to be prepared and know about the company's work and values.
- Tell me about a time you spotted a process that wasn't working well and what you did to fix it.
- Can you describe an instance where you identified a process inefficiency and detail your approach to resolving it?
Human Resources
The interview process was really bad, with lots of mixed messages and long waits. They kept saying they'd reply but never did. The management really doesn't seem to care about the candidate's experience.
- What motivates you to want to work at this company?
