I had one phone interview and then four in-person interviews. It took them over three months to get the paperwork sorted out. They did offer me the job, but I felt like an outcast right away when I asked for basic health accommodations, and they told me I couldn't get them. They also mentioned that my makeup might be against the dress code (just winged liner and mascara, seriously?). Maybe it was just this specific location, but I was so uncomfortable that I decided not to take the job.

Applied online and got a call a few days later with some interview questions, then they set up an in-person interview. Went in two days later for two interviews. First was with HR, second with the cashier ASL. They both asked usual interview questions. After the first interview, I got a test (they call it a long form) with basic math and writing. I got a calculator for the math part and for writing, I had to write a letter to a customer who wasn't happy. There was also a list of terms, and I had to write how I'd fit into them (they were all headings from the job description like culture, teachability, etc.). After that test, I interviewed with the cashier ASL. They asked pretty similar questions to the first interview, then asked me to come back a few hours later. When I came back, they offered me the job, did a drug test, and sent in my background and credit check.

I applied online and got a call pretty quickly with some basic interview questions. Then I had a second interview the next week with more basic questions. After that, I had to take a written test that involved some basic math (using a calculator), writing a business-style letter, and answering a few questions at the end about how I'd bring certain things to Scheels. Then there was a third and final in-person interview with more questions, some of which were more specific to me.
