The interviewer was really rude. He missed our scheduled time, and then when we finally talked, he didn't even have his camera on. I mentioned I was going for the Fashion Wholesale Manager role, and he actually laughed at my experience, which really messed with my head and confidence, so the rest of it was terrible.

It was a speedy interview process, with just two interviews and a questionnaire. The whole thing wrapped up in about two weeks, which was way better than some companies that make you go through six interviews over four months.

I applied for a job at HQ and wanted to share my experience. I applied for a role that I didn't think I was fully qualified for, but I had some similar experience, so I applied anyway. On the application, I said I had experience in a certain area when I didn't have the exact experience, but I had similar experience that was on my resume. I'd consider the listing to be entry-level because the pay was around 55k and the title had "assistant" in it. To my surprise, I got an interview request saying "We think you may be a good fit." I was surprised but booked an interview. For other similar roles, my lack of exact experience wasn't an issue because I had applicable skills and they expected me to learn. The day of the interview, I noticed the job listing title had changed from "assistant" to "manager." I arrived at HQ and waited outside for a while. I called the number on the door and a woman let me in. She didn't seem to expect me and called the CEO, Dylan, who I then met in his office. He didn't look up, introduce himself, or say hello. I tried to make small talk about the space, and he responded negatively, calling it a "warehouse." Still not looking at me, he asked what I applied for. He looked at my resume, seemed uninterested, and mumbled questions about my experience. He then condescendingly stated that my "limited" experience wasn't close to the job responsibilities and asked why I applied, implying I was wasting his time. I agreed I didn't have all the experience and was surprised he requested an interview, but I showed up because he asked and I was excited to learn. He mentioned I clicked "yes" to a question about experience and I explained my related experience. He told me to "read more carefully next time." He also said the position was senior and he didn't have time to train someone. While I recognize I applied for a position I wasn't qualified for, the experience on my resume is truthful. It's the hiring person's job to assess qualifications. I only went because they invited me after I applied. After driving an hour, I was only there for less than 5 minutes. I'm glad it was short because I couldn't imagine working for that company. I've never written a bad review, but the lack of respect was unbelievable. I had a bad feeling about the company after reading other reviews and wish I had listened to my instincts.

I withdrew my application because of the poor reviews I saw, and then the company's immature responses and the ridiculous preliminary interview questionnaire. One question asked if I could handle harsh leadership. The company admits to being a toxic work environment and has no plans to change, even with all the negative feedback and candidates withdrawing.
