it was fairly long, but overall good, they really want to know you before contracting you, had several interviews and a tech challenge, but it wasn't a difficult one, mainly past experiences and tech background

It was a great interview, maybe the best I've had, and it gave me a lot of confidence. Structured interviews are better than unstructured ones for predicting job performance. They're also more objective and legally sound. Companies that use structured interviews improve their hiring and keep better records of how they interview so they can make it better.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

There were 4 rounds in total. The first was a phone call, then a video interview. These were pretty basic and mostly about getting to know me. After that, I went to the Scalar office for the in-person round, where I had 5 separate interviews with 5 senior team members. The last part was a case study I had to complete and submit within a week. Honestly, the whole experience felt really welcoming and comfortable, more like having interesting chats than a formal interview. I'd give them 5 stars for how they treated me, better than any other company I've interviewed with.
