Retention Specialist
Had a quick phone call to go over the job and training schedule. If that went well, then I went in for a 30 minute meeting where they talked about the job and I also had to do a computer test.
- Can you commit to a mandatory two-week training program, held Monday through Friday for four hours each day?
Customer Service Representative
It was pretty easy. I read from a script, and they tested my typing speed (WPM). They asked me how I'd deal with difficult customers and about my current work or school schedule. I got the job offer right at the end of the interview.
- What's your approach to managing a customer who's upset and won't let go of their problem?
Customer Service Representative
I submitted my application online via a job search website. After that, I was contacted for an interview. The interview itself felt very relaxed. It took place in a conference room with a very friendly interviewer. She inquired about my past work experiences and asked standard interview questions. We also did some role-playing exercises, and at the end, she had me read from a script to assess my communication style as a representative. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- How would you deal with a customer who is upset?
