The interview process was decent. The location was nice and everyone I met was friendly. I have no complaints about how they treated me, other than the outcome. But that's okay, because when one opportunity ends, another begins.

Got a LinkedIn message, took me a few weeks to reply since I wanted to check out the company first, though I initially ignored it thinking it was just another recruiter as I had just changed jobs. They had some online tests and I could pick from a couple of roles. I did both tests and then they asked me to come in to meet the owners, but one was double-booked. A week or two later, HR set up a time to talk with the other partner. The interview was a bit weird, mostly them trying to figure me out. No specific tech questions or tests. It was obvious that lying about experience, not being passionate about software, or being in it for the wrong reasons would be a big problem. Fresh grads would have been lost. I met the owner who was double-booked a couple weeks after that. Similar experience. Both partners seemed very hands-on and invested in the company. It was the easiest interview I've had, but it would probably surprise many people due to the interview style. It was all very professional though, and they always answered my follow-up questions thoughtfully. I didn't get an offer, but I think I could have if I'd tried harder. My impression is that it would be a good place to work, with some startup energy but high expectations for quality. Maybe not for everyone, but I'd suggest interviewing if you get the chance. Definitely not a typical workplace.

It started with an email to find a time for a phone screening. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. Since the first interview went well, they asked me to come back for a second round of questions and to meet some of the team. Everyone has been really helpful and professional throughout the whole thing.
