First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SBC.
IT Officer
its easy but not complicated hiring process and very articulate questions that the interviewer will ask to applicant which makes conversation smooth and acceptable. Theres a lot of professional questions and work questions
- Tell me about your experience in your past role.
IT Security Specialist
It was a fair interview, with some questions repeated in the second round. The questions were clear and the assessment was good. The HR team was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. The whole interview process was fast, wrapping up within 3 weeks.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- What are your thoughts on how you will succeed in this particular role?
Intern
It was a pretty standard interview process. First, there was a behavior interview where they asked me to walk through my resume, and then about my reasons for pursuing an MBA, my interest in the industry, and specifically why I was interested in SBC. They also asked for a leadership story and an achievement. Following that, there was a case interview where the problem was to figure out how to make an oil station more efficient without using any additional resources.
- Can you discuss how to boost oil sales and efficiency without increasing resources?
- What are your thoughts on improving oil station efficiency without additional resources?
Sales Associate
The interview process was long and tiring. There were so many interviews that seemed repetitive. The interviewers weren't clear on what they expect of you and kept faltering. I was given an offer, then it was recalled, and I received another one later on that was nowhere near the first.
- Are the renumeration packages and benefits offered very low?
