I had an interview for this role and felt good about it. The interview seemed pretty easy, and I felt like I could answer everything well because of my experience and certs. I have a CS degree, I'm CKA and AWS DevOps Pro certified, and I've been doing this for almost 9 years. But I didn't get the job, which was super disappointing. It's tough to put in so much work, travel for it, and then feel like they didn't even look at my skills. I really hope they review how they interview people and make sure everyone gets a fair shot. Lots of good people want to work there, and being fair in hiring is key for a good, diverse team.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The whole interview process had 3 rounds. First, there was an online test that lasted for 90 minutes and had 17 questions, 15 were MCQs and 2 were coding questions. The topics covered were OOPS, DBMS, Java code snippets, Networking, Cloud Computing and others. Coding questions were in Javascript and Java/Groovy. Then came the technical round where the focus was on problem solving. It started with an introduction and resume overview. I explained a project about ML and then solved a DSA question. I also asked about AI/ML integration in their products, which impressed the interviewer and they talked for 15 minutes about their innovations. Finally, there was an HR round, which was a 15-minute session with usual HR questions like personal strengths, weaknesses, and a scenario-based question about handling conflicting tasks.

The interview process had 4 rounds. First, a recruiter call to discuss my background. Second, a chat with an architect about my experience and the role's requirements, followed by a Q&A. Third, another senior architect asked about IGA system implementation, focusing on solutions architect rather than professional services roles. Fourth, a meeting with senior leadership to assess fit. The recruiter went silent after the interview and never provided an update despite follow-ups, only reaching out months later about the job opening before going silent again. I'd like to give feedback to the recruitment team about timely updates and about not interviewing candidates for jobs they didn't apply for.

  • Tell me about your experience implementing IGA with modern solutions, including any difficulties and how you overcame them.
  • What's your experience with application onboarding, especially regarding various connector types?
  • What can you tell me about job schedules, certifications, and analytics reporting?

Behavioral Technical Other

So, after the recruiter called me and asked some general things like my current job, why I'm looking for a new one, what I expect, how soon I can join, and if I'm okay with relocating, there were 3 more interview rounds. The first was purely technical with the hiring manager, the second was a mix of technical and managerial stuff, and the last one was all HR. The recruiter did a great job keeping me in the loop the whole time. The whole thing wrapped up in about a week.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • Can you describe your typical day?
  • Tell me about the challenges you encounter daily and how you approach them.
  • Describe a situation where you successfully overcame a challenge, and one where you were unsuccessful. What actions did you take regarding the latter?
