I had a phone call with a recruiter, then a zoom interview with my direct boss. I didn't move forward after that, but the next step would have been a panel zoom interview.

I had two interviews for administrative jobs at Save the Children. I only had two days to get ready, and both times I had to do tests before the interview (about prioritizing and understanding spreadsheets). The interviewers were nice enough, but they seemed really stuck-up, which is a shame in the international development field. You're trying to help kids, but have some humility! The office is great, but the small room where they interviewed me made it awkward because I could see them writing notes about me, which was really uncomfortable! The worst part, though, was that after both interviews, they never told me the results. I guess I didn't get the jobs, but they should at least let people know. Job seekers put a lot of effort and emotional energy into applying and interviewing, and they've probably faced a lot of rejection and worked hard to prepare. It doesn't take much to send a rejection email to the several people they don't hire. Honestly, it's just basic courtesy. I knew I wouldn't fit in anyway after leaving because I want to help people without looking down on others during the process.

The process was okay. The office wasn't the most convenient to get to, although it was close to the subway. I didn't see much room for growth there. It could be a good fit if you like working in a smaller office setting with familiar people.
