It was a really chill interview with a great vibe, but the pay is pretty low and it was only part-time. The toll bridge is a hassle for anyone not living in Newport. The team seems super nice and outgoing. It's a good gig for someone in high school or early in college.

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process began with an email and a call from the Communications Director to confirm my acceptance of the listed salary. I felt the salary was acceptable for a role with a positive work environment. The subsequent interview involved meeting with the director, the current person in the role (who expressed some dissatisfaction), and two directors who presented their upcoming campaigns. Interestingly, one of these campaigns did not materialize, and it seemed the presenter was not fully informed about the practices she was advocating. The interviewers appeared unreceptive to suggestions for improving the position. Overall, the interview experience was not positive. Ultimately, they hired someone significantly younger and less experienced, who remained in the role for less than a year. The position is no longer advertised on their website.

I had a 30-minute phone call interview. The interviewer emailed me first to schedule it. They offered phone interviews on weekdays and weekends.
