Influencer Relations Intern
The interview process typically involves about 3-4 stages. One of these stages includes reviewing a mini-assignment you'll be given. I found the assignment to be quite thorough in assessing your understanding of the brand's identity. It was also designed to be manageable, considering you're likely applying to other internships. I felt really at ease during the interviews with my supervisors. One of them has since moved on, so I can't comment on her replacement, but everyone was generally polite and friendly, so I imagine the new person is similar. I'd suggest this internship, but primarily for those looking for a short-term commitment.
- Who would be your top choice to represent our brand as an influencer, and why?
- Could you elaborate on their specific activities or content?
- What makes this influencer the ideal candidate for our brand?
Apparel Designer
Had a chat with HR, they were super nice and the questions weren't tough. They mainly want to see if your experience matches the job requirements. Your portfolio and talking about your past work will be most important when you talk to the Senior Designer or Creative Director.
- Why do you believe you'd be a great fit for Savage x Fenty?
PR Manager
The interview process involved a few stages, including phone calls and Zoom meetings. There were some standard interviews with questions and also an assessment. The final stage was supposed to be an in-person interview, but I didn't get to that point.
- Can you name some influencers you think would be a good fit for us to work with?
- Tell me about a campaign that you are proud of.
- How do you navigate difficult situations?
Influencer Marketing Assistant
The whole process was long and drawn out. It started with an application that had some detailed questions. Then I had to record a timed video where I answered over five detailed questions. After that, I had a call with the recruiter, who was late. Next, there were two back-to-back video interviews with the team. I had to wait a whole month after those video interviews to finally get rejected. It was super disappointing, especially since they complimented my answers multiple times during one of the video interviews. The whole thing took almost two months, which I feel is a bit disrespectful of people's time.
- Can you suggest some influencers that you think we should collaborate with, and explain your reasoning?
