First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Saur.
Commercial Engineer
I had one interview with HR, who was really dynamic and gave me feedback on my impression, which was good. Then, I had one interview with the CEO (of the Saur Nijuhuis subsidiary), a man passionate about his work. Finally, I had to give a presentation to the CEO, which was very demanding and in English.
- Discuss water treatment and your business perspective.
Superviseur de travaux
I went through three interviews. First, a phone call with HR to talk about my background and why I want to work here. Then, a video call with my direct manager to discuss my technical skills and how I'd fit into the team. The last interview, also a video call, was with my manager and some team members to check my skills and see if I'd be a good fit for the project.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in joining our company?
HRIS Analyst
After I applied, I had a phone call with the company about a position they described as urgent, but I never heard back from them afterwards. Too bad, especially since the proposed contract is a fixed-term contract with a not very competitive salary.
- What are your organizational skills?
Data Entry Clerk
I was contacted by a recruiter via Microsoft Teams after they saw my resume on CareerBuilder. They mentioned the interview would be entirely online, using Teams, and offered a choice between customer service, data entry, or administrative roles. I was given a Teams link and an interview verification code to share with the HR contact through the link. The interview began with a company overview focusing on water resources, followed by details on HR benefits and the Data Entry job duties. After a quick mention of available shifts, they started asking questions. There were 10 questions in total, and then I was asked to write a short paragraph about why I should be hired and to provide 2 professional references.
- What would you say is your biggest weakness and your most significant achievement? In just four words, how would your past colleagues or supervisors describe you?
- If you get the job, what's your plan for the first 60 days? Have you ever clashed with a coworker? Can you share an instance?
- In what ways do you believe you can help the company achieve its objectives?
