- What's your motivation for wanting this position?
People Operations Associate
The interviewer missed the scheduled call twice. I reached out after the first missed call to check in, and they just sent a new invite without checking my availability. They repeated this for the rescheduled time. The recruiter didn't apologize or follow up, which was a bummer because I was really looking forward to potentially joining such a great organization with a significant mission.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Director, Research and Evaluation
The entire interview process lasted almost 3 months. It began with an HR phone screen, followed by interviews with the Director of Programs and the Director of Advancement. Then, there was a writing exercise and presentation for the CEO, Director of Programs, Director of Advancement, and an external partner/consultant. The final stage was an interview with the CEO and a second external partner/consultant.
- Can you outline a plan and create a presentation detailing your first 30, 60, and 90 days in this position?
Writer
The hiring process started pretty fast. I applied one night and the next morning got an email to set up a recruiter interview. After that, I interviewed with my potential manager, which went well. Then, I was told to keep my schedule open for an executive interview because of her packed schedule. After waiting four days with no word, I followed up. They said her schedule is just really busy, and this is normal for her, so not hearing anything wasn't a bad sign. The next business day, I got an email saying they decided not to move forward with my application. It felt like a waste of time.
- What are your strategies for managing stress?
