I applied via a recruiter, and went through several technical rounds, all of which I passed. But the final in-person HR round was a letdown and a total waste of time. Instead of discussing job expectations, culture, or pay, the HR person asked random questions that had nothing to do with the job or my application. It was frustrating to get rejected at the end over something simple like my notice period, which I had already told them about. The good part was the technical interviewers knew their stuff and the technical interviews were tough and relevant. The bad part was getting rejected for a silly reason at the last minute, and they didn't respect my time or effort.

Technical Coding Behavioral

It was a super long process through the university, like a whole month went by, not sure why. Started with an aptitude test, then an online technical round that was mostly basic DSA and data structures. After that, we had an in-office interview which was pretty chill, asking stuff like recursive Palindrome and max of array using recursive function. Finally, there was an online HR round, and we got the results the same day.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

I went through three virtual interview rounds. It started with a brief HR phone screen, then a meeting with the hiring manager over Teams. After that, I was given a week to complete a coding challenge that was moderately complex. The final interview involved presenting that coding exercise, also via Teams, which lasted about two hours. During this final stage, we went over my past work experience and they asked some technical questions, but they weren't overly tricky. The whole experience was good; the timing was fair, and the interviewers asked insightful questions, provided clear answers, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the company.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you explain why strings are immutable in Java?
  • Tell me about a situation at work where you had to think creatively to solve a problem.
