I applied for the job and waited about a month before getting a phone interview with a Principal PM and their Manager. It was a pretty standard interview. The Principal PM said the recruiter would follow up with next steps. I didn't hear back for a week, so I asked for feedback and an update. The recruiter said she hadn't heard from the interviewers but would check. Three weeks later, still nothing. I'm guessing they picked someone else. I applied to a bunch of other jobs there, but after 3 months, I hadn't heard back about any of them. Some of these jobs had been open for ages, like a year. It seems like they're not in a rush to hire anyone, so I decided to withdraw my applications.

I had a really bad time interviewing with SAS even though they are well-known. It began well with good communication from the recruiter and coordinator for the initial screen and setting up the first interview. Two days later, I got invited to a second interview with some date options. I had already mentioned I had some limited availability because of planned time off, but I was ready to work around the time difference because I was very interested in the job and company. Even though I replied to the coordinator right away to schedule the second interview, I heard nothing back, not even after I followed up a few days later. I don't think I would have heard anything if I hadn't followed up with my first recruiter, who told me they had hired someone else (this was after they had already offered me a second interview and then just ghosted me). It all left me with a bad taste and I'm very hesitant to apply to SAS again.

I applied via Indeed and got an email for a phone interview about a week later. The phone interview was supposed to be an hour but only took 30 minutes. It was mostly PM questions, questions about my current job, and then I got to ask my questions. For the in-person interview, we all had to do a mock client meeting. This meant creating a slide presentation and then presenting it to people pretending to be clients. They didn't give much info so it was tough to make a one-slide presentation. The panel seemed disengaged and were typing the whole time (taking notes, I guess). The campus was really nice, and overall, it was a good experience.
