I applied online and had a phone screen with a Senior HR Recruiter. This recruiter was kinda slow in getting back to me and setting up the onsite interview, even though they verbally told me I'd made it to the next round. Then, I met this really cold Hiring Manager who seemed surprised when I asked a basic question. After that, I met the person I'd be replacing (who got an internal promotion). He looked really worn out. We had a decent chat, and then he told me not to believe everything online about working for SAS. Seeing the hiring manager's attitude and hearing what he said, I basically bolted after my interview.

Behavioral Case

This was a behavioral interview process, but it really focused on your sales process routine, like your pipeline, general sales strategies, how you handle objections, and your data acumen. They wanted to see how you ensure the customer is happy and taken care of during a sale, so you can get them to open new accounts for the company.

I had an unpleasant experience with a hiring manager. During the call, she confirmed I was moving to the next round and described the process. A week later, I hadn't received an invite, so I emailed her. I got a standard reply saying they chose another candidate. It's a strange way to operate.
