Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

Had a good initial screening call with the Recruitment partner, and they quickly set up a next step with the hiring manager to go over my resume and motivation. Then, I had two rounds of face-to-face interviews at the Dublin office, followed by a call with the UKI RVP. I also completed a face-to-face sales call role-play where I had to act as two IT personas focused on analytics, business insights, and data management. I was given enough materials to study beforehand to prep for that. Got an offer about a week later. The whole process was great and moved along really well.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Group

The interview process was pretty standard. I started with a phone chat with my potential manager, and after that, I was invited for a series of interviews. The first was a 1:1 with my manager, covering typical AE interview topics like past performance, career path, goals, and interest in SAS. The second round was also a 1:1 with his manager, mostly confirming what we discussed earlier and going a bit deeper. The third round involved the current sales team, a group of 3 reps. This was a unique step that made the job at SAS stand out. It felt like it carried as much weight as the 1:1s, and it turned out to be true. The final step was an interview with the VP of the group. By then, it was clear I was going to get an offer, and this interview was more about confirming that I wanted to move forward.

I applied online and heard back from the recruiter the same day. First, there was a phone screen, then I met with the hiring manager and another team member. After that, I never heard back from anyone despite trying to reach them multiple times, so I eventually gave up. I've heard from colleagues that this is typical for SAS interview processes in Toronto, which is pretty unprofessional.
