Management for Cosmetics Line
I was actually so excited after my recent interveiw with SAS because the interview went very well, I am a perfect fit for the position I was interviewed for; I was impressed with company - as they seemed to offer great pay to its employees etc. At the close of the interview, I was extended an invitation to come back and interview with another associate; as I had passed the first interview "with flying colors" & was asked to be available the Monday following preliminary interview. Also, I was told to expect a call by 5, to schedule Mondays interview. No call was recieved.... so, i made a call to them, to follow up and actively pursue this opportunity. I was interested and wanted to be enthusiastic and convey my excitement about working with them. Upon doing so, however; I was informed that they had chosen a different candidate to fill the position. I thought it was unprofessional, careless and shows that they practice bad business behavior. You don't extend an invitation to continue the interview process, for employment..... and then revoke it, without reaching out to that person and communicating that decision. -I find it a reflection of the company and the people working for company, as well. I am disapointed and don't appreciate the carelessness, in their hiring practices.
- In two words, how would your family describe you?
Risk Software Developer
I applied for the 2016 summer Risk Software Developer intern role. The whole process had three stages: document review, an HR interaction, and a technical interview with a current software development employee. I got an email about two weeks after applying, and then a phone call to set up the interview about three weeks after that.
- Can you tell me about your past project on the Finite Difference Method and Monte Carlo simulation?
- Could you walk me through the algorithm for Monte Carlo Simulation using SAS proc procedure?
- What are the various types of risks prevalent in the financial industry?
Systems Engineer
The interview process was quite thorough and involved several steps. What struck me was that they seemed to value adherence to procedure more than innovative thinking or proactive problem-solving. It felt like SAS Federal was more focused on the sales aspect of software rather than genuinely tackling the customer's business problems or offering solutions.
- Can you tell me about your understanding of the industry?
- What are your thoughts on technology in this field?
Consultant
The HR person was very receptive, and the managers were attentive and captivating. The atmosphere felt friendly and collaborative, making it seem like a good place to work. The building is located in Itaim Bibi, which has good options for restaurants and medical clinics. If someone were to work there in person, it's a good location.
- What is your current work, sir?
