Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sargent & Lundy.
Engineer
The interview process included an HR introduction to the company, followed by four separate panel interviews conducted entirely via video call. I interviewed with the hiring manager and three other individuals individually, and each person asked questions about my expertise and experience.
- Can you share your experience with us?
- For a given scenario, what solutions could you propose?
Engineer
I met with HR first thing who chatted about benefits and showed me around the office. Then I had some one-on-one and group chats with senior engineers in quiet rooms. Sometime in the morning, I had to do a CAD skills test, which was pretty simple.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Engineer
After the initial interview, they responded quickly. It was a panel interview where I met with multiple people back-to-back. It was a positive experience because they also discussed benefits beforehand. It felt like the interview was mainly to confirm their interest, as it seemed they already knew which candidates they preferred.
- Can you discuss your past projects and explain their relevance to the job?
