It was a one-on-one interview with a few supervisors. They asked about how I handle conflict and my teaching style. There were some hypothetical situations too, but it felt like they were more interested in my personality and if I'd fit in with the other advisors rather than if there were right or wrong answers.

Behavioral Presentation

The process is pretty simple. If you apply, they'll call you to set up an interview within a week. Once you're there, they'll have you sit in an interview room and ask you questions. It's pretty conversational, but they want you to represent the college well, so make a good presentation, speak clearly and respectfully, and be honest. It's okay to mention things you don't love about the school, as long as it's mostly positive. They really encourage you to ask them thoughtful questions about the job too. Afterwards, they'll say they'll get back to you, and you'll usually hear back within a week or two via email.

The interview process was really personalized, which totally matched the institution's vibe. They seemed genuinely interested in finding someone who's a good fit for their specific needs and were happy to let the conversation naturally lead to your areas of interest. It felt like a genuine human-to-human interaction, never like talking to a robot. Everyone I spoke with was wonderful.
