I got asked about 4 technical questions covering materiality, substantive procedures for revenue and payroll, and significant risk on the income statement.
- Can you explain the difference between overall materiality and performance materiality?
Audit Senior
They just ask questions to put you off given that the interviewers are not even auditors. I found that one weird since the the interview kept on telling me that they are not auditors.
- Can you describe Biological assets in a case study?
Audit Associate
The interview process kicks off with some quick online assessments to gauge your personality and values (this is the first round). Then, you'll move on to the second round, which involves a rapid-fire Q&A with the CEO and his team about how the business operates. They're trying to give you a feel for what the job at SAPRO is actually like. This simulation happens before the final interview, which is the third round.
