So basically, first you have to take this timed written exam which was a total waste of my time and the results come back after a month. After that, they rank you based on your score and then submit your info for different openings. Some jobs require a phone screening before the actual interview. I went for a full-time LVN job and I specifically asked if it was an extra help or coded position and the recruiter said it was full-time coded. But then when I got to the interview, the hiring manager said it was an on-call 'extra-help' position. So yeah, be careful with this hospital. They make you do a lot just to interview you and then try to trick you into a temporary job. Make sure you know exactly what kind of job it is before you go. They seem to want LVNs to do all the hard work while the RNs chill. I didn't get the job, which is good because I didn't want an on-call position anyway. I got a great offer from another top hospital in California though.

I applied online and after about 4-5 months, the nurse manager reached out for an interview. It was a panel interview with 4 nurses, usually assistant nurse managers and some staff nurses from the floor. The interview itself was about 20-30 minutes long. They mentioned that I'd hear back within 1-2 weeks about whether I got the job. The whole process takes a bit longer because it's with the county.
