It felt like they were really nice and excited to meet me. They offered to give me more info and made it seem like things were going well. But then, they just disappeared. As someone who's been in their shoes, I'd never ghost a candidate, especially after making them feel like they were a top contender.

The HR department was great, they called and emailed with all the parking and location details. I got there a bit early but they started late. The first interview had 3 people, and the final one had 2. The first interview was rough - they were polite but super quiet and uninterested, even when I tried to be engaging and give examples. I felt like they already had someone picked out and these interviews were just a formality. I still think I interviewed well and I'm glad I learned from it.

Since this was a short-term position, I interviewed with the coordinator of the office. For permanent roles, interviews involve panels with deans and current staff. The interview itself was relaxed, more like a chat with some questions to guide it. They really wanted to know about my work with students and the college's community services.

The interview itself was nice, the committee seemed engaged and asked simple questions. I felt good about it, but then weeks went by and I heard nothing. They ghosted me.
