Customer Success Manager
The whole thing took over a month and involved 4 interviews plus a presentation. It felt like they were figuring it out as they went. In the end, they hired someone cheaper, and communication was pretty bad the whole time.

Customer Service Representative
The HR rep reached out to set up the first call and told me the interview process had five stages: first with her, then the hiring manager, the team, the chief sales officer, and then a presentation. They mentioned all interviews would be recorded, even if you decline, for transcription purposes, which I found a bit invasive. The interview process was alright and pretty organized. But, I had to chase them for an update on the result, which seemed a bit unprofessional.
- Can you share an experience where you collaborated with different departments within your company?
- Describe a situation where you were involved in upselling or cross-selling.
Administrative Assistant
First, office personnel reached out to gauge my interest. Then, the owner conducted a short phone interview and arranged the in-person meeting. The in-person interview had to be postponed because the owner's schedule changed. I arrived about 15 minutes ahead of time, unsure of the exact location; perhaps 5 minutes early would have been better for such a small office. I met with the owner and was offered a drink. We reviewed my resume and asked each other questions. We talked about a possible schedule. The interview was quite brief. I was informed that other candidates were scheduled and I'd hear back within a week. I did receive a call during that week for a second interview, but I couldn't accept due to prior commitments. Everyone seemed straightforward and pleasant.
- Could you tell us about your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you discuss your skills, particularly in CRM and software?
- What is your motivation for being interested in our company?
Associate
I saw an ad for experienced salespeople and called the office. I chatted with the Franchise owner for about 15 minutes and scheduled a meeting. During the meeting, they really pushed the associate opportunity without asking much about me, and said I'd get an email for an online assessment. About a week later, I got the link and did the 24-question Extended DISC assessment. I guess I did well because they called me to meet again to go over my profile and interview. About another week later, I met with them and was offered the associate position with the Franchisee.
- Do you feel a need to be accepted or liked by others?
- How anxious are you about promoting yourself?
