I recently interviewed with the San Jose Sharks for an Account Executive position. I felt my application wasn't seriously considered, possibly due to a 'boys club' environment. As a woman with transferable skills, I was surprised they didn't look twice at my resume, as if my abilities weren't taken seriously for what they saw as a 'man's job.' It's disappointing that such an organization overlooks capable candidates based on outdated assumptions. This 'boys club' needs to recognize the value women can bring.

I had a video interview with the director, then a case study presentation with the director and the VP. The final round was a case study presentation panel with the director, VP, a marketing rep, and an HR rep. After the final interview, they reposted the job 2 hours before telling me they moved on. I don't really recommend applying for their BI roles, they don't know what they want and will waste your time.
