It was really basic, they just looked at my coursework. The interviewer was super chill and made me feel comfortable. The company culture seems pretty relaxed, which might explain why the interview was so low-key.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

It was a kind of unusual research interview. The first round was a group phone call with my potential teammates and the hiring manager. Everyone jumped in and asked questions, mainly about my research and thesis. If they liked me, they flew me out for a whole day of interviews. The onsite started with an hour-long research talk, then I had one-on-one meetings. Interviewers asked me programming questions, some asked follow-ups about my research talk, and others had more specific systems research questions.

First, a phone screening to chat about your background and see if you're a good fit. Then, a technical interview to check your cybersecurity knowledge and skills with tools. Lastly, you might meet with the hiring manager and security folks in person. This part could have behavioral questions about how you handle security challenges, plus chats about what SDSC needs and their security setup.
