My interview was about 30 minutes long and conducted over Zoom. It was just one round. They asked me some questions about my resume and about the job I was applying for. It was pretty straightforward, just make sure you're ready for job-related questions.

Behavioral Group

The interview process was pretty simple. First, I had a Zoom interview with a group of people where they asked typical background questions. It was short, about 10-15 minutes. Then, I was invited for a second interview on campus. This one was more casual, over coffee. They let me know that internal candidates looking for a promotion were prioritized, and there were already a couple of internal people interested.

I had an interview right after the deadline. I first talked about my background and research experience. Then there was a presentation with technical questions and a discussion on my motivation to pursue a PhD. Finally, the Professor shared expectations and research directions.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard until the actual interview part. Honestly, the interviewers weren't the friendliest and came across as a bit condescending. I remember one of them actually laughed at some of my responses, which I didn't think was appropriate, especially since I had just graduated and was looking for my first job, so my answers might not have been perfect. It still bothers me a bit thinking about it. I think one of the interviewers might still be there, but I'm not sure about the other.
