So, I applied via email and they got back to me surprisingly fast with a link to schedule an interview, which was weird given my background. Everything happened super quick, maybe a week and a half total. The day before the interview, they sent over a fact pattern to prep a 3-5 min opening. The interview itself was about 25 min with a three-person panel. They were all really nice. Quick heads up: try to schedule your interview late in the day. That way, you get more prep time because those fact pattern emails come out the morning before.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

We had a 45-minute Zoom interview with two attorneys. They asked general questions, but then they gave us a fact pattern on the spot and we had to do a 3-5 minute sentencing. They didn't ask questions like in normal interviews; they asked behavioral questions first, then asked who you are and what your interests are.

  • Can you share three characteristics about yourself or how you would describe yourself?
  • What would be your best pitch?
  • Given a fact pattern, deliver a 3-5 minute sentencing.

I got an email with a hypothetical case about two days before the interview. I had to give a 5-minute opening statement, and then answer legal and ethical questions. They also asked some standard interview questions before the opening statement and case questions.
