The interview process was very fast, taking about 2 weeks, so be aware of that. The HR person and hiring manager were nice. However, I only stayed for 2 weeks because they hired two people for the same position. I was the second candidate they chose. I suspect they do this to ensure the first hire is a good fit, and then they let go of the second candidate. Please be wary of these business practices, as this happens more and more these days. It was awful and caused major financial life changes for me.

after an initial conversation at a career fair, I applied online, and shortly after received an invitation for an interview. The interview was with a representative from the technical planning department. The questions were pretty standard and not too difficult. They explained various topics for a thesis project and introduced the company in general. I was even able to contribute my own suggestions. I received positive feedback at the end of the conversation. I decided to accept the position afterward and haven't regretted it.

Ich habe mich über einen Personalvermittler für eine Stelle in München beworben. Ich hatte zwei Vorstellungsgespräche, und beide fanden in Bötzingen statt, wo sich der Hauptsitz des Unternehmens befindet. Das erste Gespräch war mit der Personalabteilung und dem Produktionsleiter und verlief ziemlich gut; sie schienen sehr angetan. Das zweite Gespräch lief nicht so gut. Obwohl ich eigentlich mit dem Teamleiter aus München sprechen sollte, mussten wir beide wieder nach Bötzingen reisen. Leider hatte mein Zug eine Verspätung von 2 Stunden, und der Personalvermittler schickte nur eine kurze E-Mail, dass ich später kommen würde. Natürlich waren sie verärgert, dass sie auf mich warten mussten, und hatten keine Lust mehr. Ich war nur 20 Minuten dort (nachdem ich 6 Stunden unterwegs war).

Had a cold recruiter call. The room acoustics for the interview were quite bad, making it hard to hear the recruiter. They didn't ask about my current salary when scheduling the interview, and when I stated my current salary and benefits at the end of the interview, the recruiter was surprised. It would have been convenient to ask over the phone before scheduling. At the end of the interview, they presented the factory through a mezzanine, which I considered a very positive move.
