The entire interview process took place on-site in Calamba. It started with a general aptitude and behavior exam that's pretty straightforward. Then there was a brief initial screening with HR, focusing mainly on background checks and personal questions. Following that was a panel interview with HR managers, which was behavioral in nature, assessing your personality and what you learned in college and internships. The final stage was a technical interview with the line managers, where they might ask you to discuss your thesis.

It took less than a month. First, there was a written exam which was pretty easy. Then came the interviews, two in total. The first was with HR, and the second was a panel interview with the Korean managers. The final interview was a technical one with Samsung engineers.

The hiring process was very drawn out, lasting over two months. While I had a positive overall experience with the interviews and the people I met, the main drawbacks were the excessive duration and the requirement to travel to their site in Calamba for every scheduled event, which was inconvenient due to the distance. Despite these challenges, I attended every meeting because I was very keen on the position. I successfully passed the initial assessments, which consisted of various tests. Following that, HR conducted one-on-one interviews the next day. After clearing the HR interview, I was invited for a panel personality assessment. Upon passing that, I proceeded to the final stage, a technical panel interview. A significant downside was their lack of communication regarding unsuccessful candidates; they simply stop contacting you. It's been several weeks since my technical interview, and I haven't heard back, leading me to assume I didn't make the cut, which is disheartening given the investment of effort, time, and money in transportation.
