So I initially applied for an entry-level Systems Engineering job but a recruiter told me that CORP is the way to get into SAS. It began with an on-campus interview, and then I got invited for an on-site with like 20-30 other people from different schools. The on-site day started with a general info session about SAS and their benefits. Then there was a social dinner at a restaurant with some Samsung engineers and execs, but they weren't involved in hiring so it was just for asking questions. The actual interview process kicked off the next morning with another info session at breakfast, this time about Samsung overall. After that, there were three interviews: two were panel interviews, usually with one HR person and two engineers plus a leader, and one was a leaderless interview with one HR person and one engineer. There was also a tour of the facilities given by an engineer. The order varied depending on when you got called from the waiting room after the morning session. I had all my interviews before the tour. One panel interview was about my motivation for working at SAS and some behavioral stuff. The other panel interview focused on my senior design project and how I designed and developed it. The leaderless interview involved a small group of us candidates and was a test of teamwork.

I had several phone interviews, then an in-person meeting with HR. After that, there was a panel interview with several managers and team members. The interview focused mostly on behavioral questions, with not much emphasis on technical skills. The long working hours were brought up several times, and from what I heard from ex-employees, work-life balance isn't really a thing there. My talks with HR about pay suggest I'd be taking a significant pay cut per hour, even though the overall salary might increase.
